This seems a bit like a recipe for disaster- potting soil hovering above my nice, white bedspread. However, spring is on its way and we must be prepared with flowers, flowers, flowers! Seeing as my room is sunny and occasionally warm it seems like the best place for the seedlings at the moment.
I spent some time this afternoon out in the garden working on this little project. The chickens were especially clingy for some reason and followed me around in a little group, pecking at my jeans and chatting away. Annabel even managed to knock over an entire pot of freshly planted snap dragons (note to housemates: anticipated a heavy concentration of snap dragons in one corner of the veggie box this summer).
Yesterday was Gem's birthday. She wanted to stay in and order Indian food, and so we had ourselves a nice little chicken-themed party at home.
Slightly out of line with the chicken theme was the geography-themed birthday cake. Ah well.

Those chickens on your table look awfully familiar. Must be related to the ones you left behind in moz.
Fun! So I received my travelling Firth and I have to say- he is a keeper. Picture to follow soon:)
